Robert B. Neves, MD, is a skilled ophthalmologist at Diablo Eye Associates in Walnut Creek, California.
Dr. Neves received his Bachelor of Science in Biology, graduating with honors from Saint Mary’s College in Moraga, California. For medical school, Dr. Neves attended and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska, in 1994.
He completed his residency in ophthalmology at the Wake Forest University Eye Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Neves received the Brian Sloan Memorial Research Award for excellence in resident research during this time.
Before joining Diablo Eye Associates, Dr. Neves practiced in the Tri-Valley area for 18 years. He focuses on comprehensive medical ophthalmology in his everyday interactions with patients.
Dr. Neves treats many eye conditions, including glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, injuries, infections, and inflammatory eye disease. When not treating patients, Dr. Neves enjoys spending time with his wife, Kelly, and their three children.
